"Service One Car Care was recommended to us by a furnace technician who came out to the house. We needed a reliable and affordable place to work on a Lexus. Since then (about 5 years ago), we've moved 2 other cars (a Mazda and Toyota) to them. I have found them to be reliable, honest, thorough and smart. They've done major work on our vehicles and have saved us cumulatively thousands of $$. And rarely do I ever have to return the vehicle to resolve an issue they missed. What I like most is that they perform the work that they would do on their own cars. So it may be "time" to replace a fluid, but if it's not dirty or doesn't need changing, he doesn't recommend it. We recently had a problem w/ a Lexus. It would start, we'd pull out of driveway, it would die and wouldn't start again. I replaced battery from local parts store. Still died. Jesus found the electrical problem and charged me about $70 to diagnose and repair. I always obtain at least 2 other estimates on bigger jobs ($200+), and Service One is always cheaper. The car I drive has 184k miles, and I think it still has ample life - thanks in large part to Jesus and Damian's work. Two big thumbs-up. Like any other shop, you have to keep track of the work performed, the recommended manufacturer's intervals, and make sure that what's being recommended is consistent with work that has already been performed - as they are human (not deceitful, just misread, etc). Jesus is incredibly knowledgeable about cars and performs much/most of the work. So it's great to have direct access to the mind/skill/experience of the person who's actually working on all the cars."
